Our Director, Business Development will focus on brand awareness and the adoption of new customers – establishing the strategy, proposition, and process for the acquisition of both airline and distributor customers. Director, Merchandising (E-Commerce)

Routehappy is seeking a proven e-commerce merchandiser to oversee creation and integration of compelling and targeted merchandising content in online flight shopping to help drive conversion and upsell while improving customer experience.

As the merchandising director you will lead rich content creation on behalf of airline customers and advise distributors on the most effective ways to integrate rich content. Routehappy’s customers include Google, Expedia, Kayak, Skyscanner, Sabre, Air Canada, Qantas, United, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Alaska Airways and many others. Each of our customers are in various stages of creating and integrating rich merchandising content — compelling descriptive and visual content within flight search results and cabin and fare upsell offers. You will partner with them to identify, design and implement use cases and tests to optimize the distributor or airline's e-commerce sales and marketing funnels.

A successful recent Routehappy rich content integration on a distributor website was Webjet, Australia’s largest online travel agency. Webjet placed Routehappy rich content on its shopping cart page with a test hypothesis that the content would cause more shoppers to convert. The result was 26% higher conversion for international economy shoppers who interacted with our content. Our merchandising director will work with partners to develop more successful tests like this. Routehappy, the rich content platform for flight shopping, is seeking a driven Client Development Lead to support and grow our product integrations with distributors and airlines worldwide.

As an integral member of our Business Development team, you will lead client testing and integration of Routehappy rich content within flight shopping applications, improving how people shop for flights. Our customers include Google, Expedia, Kayak, Skyscanner, Sabre, Air Canada, Qantas, United and many others.

Our Client Development Lead will work with clients to integrate Routehappy Scores, Amenities, UPAs and UTAs in placements that improve conversion, upsell and customer satisfaction rates. You will guide and support our clients to successful launch, measurement and ongoing usage of Routehappy rich content, navigating multiple stakeholders and agendas but with common purpose to improve performance with rich content. Duties include product demos, project management, test analysis, business reviews, account management and more.

Our ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who manages projects with precise attention to detail but who also sees and can guide strategic outcomes. You also understand online products, are tech savvy and thrive helping customers succeed.
